Throughout her career, Ms. Ray has collaborated with government bodies and various non-governmental organizations to promote child protection as a priority across countries. Her efforts in addressing child protection issues within the context of travel and tourism have been recognized by multiple government entities. Ms. Ray's professional experience includes a tenure with UN Women (formerly UNIFEM), where she concentrated on human trafficking in travel and tourism. She has also served as the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility for ING entities in India. Currently, Ms. Ray works as a freelance consultant, partnering with diverse organizations and corporations to develop child protection mechanisms as part of their policies and practices. She mentors small and medium-sized organizations on advocacy actions, strategy formulations, and result-oriented implementation plans to combat human trafficking.
