Ms. Sufiyah Faruqui Wali is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the 2009 batch of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. She currently holds multiple significant positions in the state government. Ms. Faruqui serves as the Managing Director of the Handicraft & Handloom Development Corporation and the Khadi & Village Industries Board. Concurrently, she holds the position of Commissioner for Handicrafts & Handloom in Madhya Pradesh. These roles reflect her focus on promoting traditional crafts and supporting local industries. Her previous assignments include serving as the CEO of the Employment Guarantee Council in Bhopal and as Managing Director of the Civil Supplies Corporation. Throughout her career, Ms. Faruqui has demonstrated a strong commitment to ensuring that government policies and programs effectively reach those in need.
