Mr. Dhiraj Gupta

Dheeraj Kumar Gupta is a Senior Program Associate with the Energy program at WRI India, based in Ranchi, Jharkhand. He specializes in designing and implementing energy interventions to enhance reliable, sustainable, and affordable energy access. With extensive experience in project planning and management, Dheeraj has a proven track record in developing need-based energy solutions for communities. His previous roles include working as a solar project engineer with organizations like the Aga Khan Development Network and IWMI, where he collaborated with stakeholders such as the Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society and Samagra Shiksha Evam Vikas Sansthan. Dheeraj has contributed to various clean energy technologies, including solar-based irrigation systems, mini- and micro-grids, solar cold storage systems, smokeless chulhas, and bio-gas plants. He holds an Integrated M.Tech in Energy Engineering from Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi.
