Santosh leads the energy and climate change practice at Intellecap, supporting clean energy entrepreneurs with knowledge, networks, and capital solutions. With over 15 years of experience in Base of the Pyramid (BoP) market development, he focuses on energy access, climate-resilient agriculture, and climate finance. Previously, at the World Bank (South Asia Region), he worked on affordable clean cooking/energy access solutions and climate finance interventions. He has also served as a Technical Expert for GIZ, led the Rural Market Insight program at the Institute for Financial Management and Research, and advised Tata Trusts, CLEAN, GIZ, and social enterprises on energy access and last-mile distribution models. Santosh, a Mathematics graduate with a post-graduate degree from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal, has authored several publications and presented his work to various audiences.
