Shri Mukesh Kumar Meshram is currently the Principal Secretary of the Tourism and Culture Department and Director General of UP Tourism for the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Over his 26-year career in UP administration, the 1995-batch IAS officer has held key positions including Divisional Commissioner of Lucknow and Prayagraj, Secretary of Medical Education, Technical Education, Ayush departments, Commissioner of Commercial Tax, Managing Director of UPSRTC, VC LDA, and Mission Director of NRHM. He has also served as District Magistrate and Collector in several districts. Meshram holds a Master's in Architecture from IIT Roorkee and a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Birmingham, UK. Known for his dedication and integrity, he has maintained an exemplary reputation throughout his career.
