Dr. Pinky Jowel is currently leading the National Health Mission in Uttar Pradesh, she is an IAS officer of 2003 batch and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery. Prior to her current role as MD-NHM, she has served GoUP as the District Magistrate & Collector of Meerut, Hathras, Lakhimpur Kheri, Pratapgarh, Sultanpur, and Bahraich. Among many other positions served, Dr. Jowel has been a Special Secretary to the Government of Uttar Pradesh for Medical Education and as an Additional Director at SGPGI.
